Dirk Roukema

Dirk Roukema graduated in 1991 in hydraulic engineering at Delft University of Technology. His key expertise is in the fields of dredging, reclamation and marine works. During his career, he specialized in cost estimations, construction methods and planning, contract specifications and conditions, and tender strategies. He is a member of PIANC Working Group 144 (Classification of soils and rocks for marine dredging) and a board member of the Dutch Section of CEDA. He has made various publications on dredging contracts and conditions and has acted as a lecturer at Hanze School in Groningen, the Netherlands.
